Color-coded annotations in Tableau can be useful for highlighting specific data points or adding additional information to your visualizations. To create color-coded annotations in Tableau, you can follow these steps:

1. Connect to Data:
Launch Tableau Desktop and connect to your data source.

2. Create a Visualization:
Change Mark type to Pie. Drag Sales to Angle and Category to Color.

3. Add Annotations:
Select a part of the Pie. Right Click -> Add Annotations -> Choose Mark.

4. Format Annotations:
Here, we want Category and Sales. Then, Customize the appearance of your annotations by right-clicking on the Annotation -> Choose Format. This allows you to change the font, background color, border, and other formatting options.

6. Color-Coding Annotations:

In the Box Section, Choose Box as Four Sided. Shading as any color of your choice. Choose Borders as None and Corners as More Rounded.

In the Line Section, Choose the Line of any thickness with the same color chosen for the Shading in the Box Section. Choose Line End as Arrow. Choose End Size as High.

If it goes well, it should look as shown below
